Step into a sacred, fully supportive container dedicated exclusively to the spiritual liberation of women and monastics. Held in the tranquil surroundings of the Swiss-Lanka Sadaham Sevana Meditation Centre, this 5-night residential retreat blends the deep stillness of traditional silent meditation with the relational practice of Insight Dialogue.
In an environment of profound mutual respect, participants will practice interpersonal mindfulness in pairs and small groups, strictly guided by the six Insight Dialogue guidelines. We will turn our attention to the Early Buddhist teachings (Dhamma), exploring the historical wisdom, unique challenges, and pathways to awakening experienced by women and nuns. This retreat offers an unparalleled opportunity for laywomen and Bhikkhunis to connect deeply, cultivate meditative qualities of calm and joy, and realize a shared peace within a safe, gender-specific space.

This retreat offers you the opportunity to slow down, observe your inner dialogue, and cultivate awareness through Samatha and Vipassana meditation.
